The partner CSIC showcased the Waste4Soil initiative at a scientific event held in Zurich, Switzerland, on 19th of November 2025. Representing the consortium, Felipe Bastida delivered a comprehensive presentation on the project’s progress and ambitions.
During his intervention, he outlined the overall structure of the project and introduced the Living Labs that are central to Waste4Soil’s collaborative and place-based approach. He also highlighted the innovative FRP-based solutions currently under development, designed to produce sustainable soil improvers that support circular and environmentally responsible practices.
The presentation further addressed the encouraging advancements made in assessing key soil health indicators—a critical component for understanding and improving soil functions across Europe and contributing to resilient and healthy ecosystems.
